Q: What does the Ludington & Scottville Chamber of Commerce do?

The Ludington & Scottville Area Chamber of Commerce was established to promote commerce, trade and industry in Mason County. It is the largest business organization in the greater Mason County region with 470 member businesses and organizations.

The Ludington & Scottville Area Chamber of Commerce sponsors several annual events These events historically draw a large crowd of travelers and locals alike and is a prime opportunity for you to showcase your business with event sponsorship. Become an event sponsor for any of the Chamber sponsored events throughout the year.

Q: I work at a company that is a member of the Chamber. Do I need to join the Chamber as an individual in order to take advantage of member benefits?

No. As an employee of a company that is already a participating member of the Chamber, you are entitled to all of the benefits of membership. Please join us for a Chamber sponsored event and start accessing the offerings of your Chamber today.

Q: How do I contact other Chamber members?

A complete listing of our membership can be accessed through our Membership Search (Insert link to member search page) feature. You can search by business name or business type/category. Please be aware that the Chamber will NOT provide an electronic copy of the member list. A list of member labels for your mailing is available for purchase. Our Chamber Representatives can also be of assistance, 231-845-0324.

Q: How can I promote my company to other members?

Advertising and Marketing

The Chamber offers several advertising venues for marketing your business to members including Relocation/Membership Directory website banner ads, the Chamber Newsletter and our weekly E-Update.  In addition, you can submit a Hot Deal to be listed on our site, which is accessible to members and the community, or create a special deal for members only by offering a Chamber Perk.

Networking

Another popular way the members build business relationships within our member community is through our networking opportunities, sign up to attend or host a Business After Hours or a quarterly networking breakfast. The Chamber can also help to plan a ribbon cutting ceremony to introduce your business to the community.
