The Ludington Charter Boat Association is the largest charter fishing fleet on the Great Lakes . More charters originate, and more trout and salmon are caught out of the port of Ludington each year than any port in the state. Fishing is good business in the Ludington region with an estimated annual economic impact ranging between $18 and $25 million.
