Mason County Family Link: This initiative is currently being implemented in all three school districts in Mason County. Mason County Family Link focuses on bringing health and human services into the school building to serve children and families through the following means:

  • Increase support for students, families and schools
  • Increase access to healthcare, mental health services and other community resources
  • Increase parent and community engagement and involvement
  • Promote opportunities that support students’ educational, social and emotional development
  • Redirect non-educational issues from the principals and teachers, so they are able to focus on educating our children
