The Ludington & Scottville Area Chamber of Commerce offers programs for our members that provide ongoing support and benefits throughout the year.  We encourage our members to take advantage of these programs to advance the development and strength of their small business. Some of these programs include:

  • Business Education Seminars -Business education opportunities are made available locally throughout the year for members at low or no cost.
  • Chamber Perks – Member-to-Member Discount Programs– Promote your business and take advantage of other discounts offered from other members in our network.
  • Business After Hours Networking – Join fellow members in a social setting for the opportunity to network and create new connections and potential leads for your business.
  • Committee Involvement – Interested members are encouraged to participate in one of the Chamber’s several active committees: SCORE, Legislative Affairs Committee, Membership Committee, Business Education Committee, and Events Committees.

Momentum Business Plan Competition

The Momentum Business Plan Competition is a new contest that will award one business entrepreneur a prize of $50,000 to start or move an early stage business to Mason County. It’s an incredible opportunity if you are looking to relocate here!

Ludington’s SCORE Chapter

Free & Confidential Business Assistance: The Ludington & Scottville Area Chamber of Commerce houses a beneficial partnership that includes free business consultant services provided locally by Mason County’s Talent & Entrepreneur Development Coordinator and Ludington’s SCORE Chapter comprised of volunteer business mentors with real world experience.




Small Business Development Center (SBDC)

The Michigan Small Business Development Center (SBDC) enhances Michigan’s economic wellbeing by providing counseling, training and research for new ventures, existing small businesses and advanced technology companies.



While networking events are one thing we do, our commitment to help you make business connections goes much deeper than monthly get-togethers to exchange business cards. Through events, programs, and services as diverse as our members’ needs, we are helping our members build strong foundations.
