The Ludington & Scottville Chamber of Commerce has aligned with key strategic partners throughout Mason County to develop necessary resources and programs for business support and economic growth of the region. This important collaborative alliance provides a strong foundation for the Chamber and its membership.


Pure Ludington is one of the Chamber’s closest working partners.  Housed in the same office, the Ludington Area Convention and Visitors Bureau (Pure Ludington) is a vital partner and collaborator in providing quality content and information to our destination/tourism-based business community.

Downtown Ludington is a key partner in the field of community development, business recruitment, and event coordination and promotions.

The Mason County Growth Alliance is the region’s premier economic development and workforce development authority.  Specializing in business development, recruitment, planning and place making, the MCGA is one of the Chamber’s key affiliates and strategic partners and housed in the same office.

Established in 1967, West Shore Community College offers a comprehensive, general education curricula designed to meet the needs of students interested in occupational programs, leading to immediate employment and students wishing to transfer to a senior institution.

At the Community Foundation for Mason County, we’re working with donors, advisors and members of the community for one common goal: making our community a stronger, healthier, more vibrant place to live.

Over the past three decades, more charters have originated in Ludington, and more salmon and trout have been caught here than in any other port in Michigan. Ludington is also home to 40 of the finest charter captains anywhere, all eager to share their knowledge and experience.

Michigan’s Great Outdoors is an informal partnership of tourism leaders in Manistee, Mason, Oceana, Lake, and Newaygo counties. The group’s mission is to partner together to promote tourism for a stronger economy.

Great Start is designed to ensure that all Michigan children arrive at the schoolhouse door safe, healthy and ready for learning and life. By engaging community partners, the Collaborative’s charge is to create a local system for children, birth to five, that ensures that every child in Mason, Lake, and Oceana counties enters school safe, healthy, and eager to succeed.
